Tarhon- planta perena de frunze, folosita ca si condiment. Se seamana primavara devreme in alveole sau de la sfarsitul primaverii pana la inceputul verii in aer liber intr-un pat de seminte. Se raresc si apoi se transplanteaza. Frunzele pot fi folosite proaspete sau uscate pentru salate, muraturi, otet si supe. Poate fi folosit si cu mancaruri de pui si peste.
Frunzele se folosesc atat proaspete cat si uscate.
